Change Filters Regularly
A dirty air filter is the single most common cause of reduced AC performance and higher energy bills. When the filter clogs, your system works harder to pull air through — increasing runtime, reducing cooling capacity, and straining the blower motor. Replace 1-inch filters every 30–60 days during cooling season. Thicker media filters (4–5 inch) can go 6–12 months. Check your filter monthly during peak summer use.
