What Peerless hot water boiler models does D's Air & Heating install?
D's Air & Heating, Inc. installs the Peerless SC Series (cast-iron hot water with optional tankless coil), PureFire (high-efficiency condensing, up to 95% AFUE), and MI Series (atmospheric cast-iron) for residential and commercial hot water heating applications.
What is the difference between the Peerless SC Series and PureFire?
The SC Series is a traditional cast-iron atmospheric boiler — reliable and durable, with an optional tankless domestic hot water coil. The PureFire is a high-efficiency condensing boiler with AFUE ratings up to 95%, requiring PVC venting instead of a chimney. The PureFire costs more upfront but delivers lower operating costs.
Can the Peerless SC Series provide domestic hot water?

Is a permit required for hot water boiler installation in Chicago?
Yes. The City of Chicago requires a mechanical permit for boiler installation. D's Air & Heating, Inc. pulls all required permits and coordinates the city inspection. IL License #2183457.
