Furnace Repair in Palos Hills, Illinois
Palos Hills' diverse housing stock — from 1960s ranch homes to newer split-levels and two-story construction — means furnace problems vary widely. Common issues include failed ignitors, cracked heat exchangers, dirty flame sensors, and pressure switch failures in high-efficiency condensing furnaces. Multi-story homes in Palos Hills often have a single furnace trying to heat multiple floors, leading to temperature imbalances and the furnace running continuously without reaching setpoint. D's Air & Heating diagnoses furnace problems accurately on the first visit and provides honest repair-or-replace recommendations. We service all major furnace brands including Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, Rheem, York, and Bryant. Same-day furnace repair is available throughout Palos Hills, Illinois. Call (773) 940-0965.
AC Repair in Palos Hills, Illinois
Palos Hills summers bring the same heat and humidity as the rest of the Chicago metro, and multi-story homes present additional challenges — upper floors can be significantly hotter than lower floors when the AC system isn't properly balanced. Common AC problems in Palos Hills homes include warm air from the vents, frozen evaporator coils, refrigerant leaks, failed capacitors, and airflow imbalances between floors. D's Air & Heating diagnoses AC problems accurately on the first visit and can recommend zoning solutions to address floor-to-floor temperature differences. We service all major AC brands and carry common parts on our trucks for same-day repairs. Call (773) 940-0965 for AC repair in Palos Hills, Illinois.
Boiler & Hydronic Heating in Palos Hills, Illinois
While most Palos Hills homes use forced-air systems, a number of older properties still rely on hot water or steam boilers for heat. Boiler problems in Palos Hills typically include pressure loss, failed circulator pumps, leaking zone valves, and pilot or ignition failures. D's Air & Heating services all major boiler brands including Weil-McLain, Burnham, Peerless, Navien, and Noritz. Whether your boiler needs a circulator pump replacement, a zone valve repair, or a full system flush and tune-up, we provide honest diagnosis and upfront pricing. Emergency boiler service is available throughout Palos Hills, Illinois. Call (773) 940-0965.
Heat Pumps & Mini-Splits in Palos Hills, Illinois
Heat pumps and ductless mini-split systems are an excellent solution for Palos Hills homeowners looking to add efficient, zoned comfort to specific areas of the home. Multi-zone mini-split systems are particularly effective in Palos Hills' split-level and multi-story homes, where a single forced-air system struggles to maintain even temperatures throughout. Modern heat pumps can operate efficiently even in Chicago's cold winters, and dual-fuel systems that pair a heat pump with a gas furnace backup provide maximum efficiency across all temperature ranges. D's Air & Heating installs and services all major mini-split brands including Lennox, Daikin, Mitsubishi, and LG. Call (773) 940-0965 for a free estimate on heat pump or mini-split installation in Palos Hills, Illinois.
Indoor Air Quality in Palos Hills, Illinois
Indoor air quality is a significant concern in Palos Hills, particularly in newer energy-efficient homes that are tightly sealed and lack adequate ventilation. Without proper ventilation, indoor air can become stale and accumulate allergens, VOCs, and moisture. D's Air & Heating installs energy recovery ventilators (ERV) and heat recovery ventilators (HRV) that bring fresh outdoor air into the home while recovering heat energy — improving air quality without sacrificing efficiency. We also install whole-home humidifiers, dehumidifiers, UV germicidal lights, and high-efficiency media filters. Call (773) 940-0965 to schedule an IAQ evaluation in Palos Hills, Illinois.
